Kanye's community service sounds like a pretty sweet gig to many people checking out his progress. The rapper was given 250 hours of community service in a plea deal regarding his recent paparazzi case, and now he's getting started on putting in the hours. Just what is he doing? TMZ shared the details on Tuesday.

Those hoping to run across Kanye West picking up trash along the side of the highway are going to be disappointed. Kim Kardashian's hubby was at the L.A. Trade Technical College on Monday to talk with the school's students about the fashion business. Sources indicate that this is the third time Kanye West has been at the school to work with the students. It seems Kanye's community service plan is to do similar sessions at a number of different colleges. Reports indicate that he has already been making the rounds, having visited several others already as well.

The Daily News adds that in addition to Kanye's community service hours, West received two years of probation and he has to attend 24 sessions of anger management therapy. The plea deal was reached in March after the rapper entered a plea of no contest to one battery count. According to E! Online, the deal was tied to the case of photographer Daniel Ramos, who claimed that Kanye attacked him without any provocation or warning last summer.

West's attorney needs to update the court on Kanye's community service progress at the next hearing for the case slated for July 17. It's been a busy time for the singer, as of course he had his big wedding to Kim Kardashian just a matter of weeks ago. Then of course there was baby North West's “Kidchella” first birthday party, which just took place as well. It sounds like the fashion students are loving West's sessions, but what do others think? Is Kanye's community service assignment a smart way to utilize the rapper or a bit too easy a gig?
