On Wednesday night, Kimmel did something that many of his fans thought was unusual and quite risky. He invited Kanye West to his show to talk out their latest Twitter beef. Kanye was open to squashing the ordeal and blamed misplaced anger from his previous encounters with the paparazzi. Both stars were pleased that they could sort things out publically, but we should all assume that Kimmel is no fool. He probably stocked his studio with the Secret Service just in case Kanye had one of his legendary tantrums. For now, we can look forward to Kanye’s continuous rage assaults in the media.
Does this entire story sound a little fishy? Celebrities aren't fools, and neither are the viewers. It is fascinating that Kanye just happened to end up in Kimmel’s chair after the so-called beef heard around the world. Publicity stunt for ratings and record sells is one probable assumption, but we are just fine with the drama leading up to the staged squashing. If this was a staged beef, no one should be surprised or upset because they are entertainers and it’s their job.
