Kansas International Film Festival is now accepting film submissions for 2013

The 13th Annual Kansas International Film Festival is underway, accepting film entries for this year’s event. There are four deadlines. The February 23, early deadline; two mid-submissions deadlines of March 23, and April 23; and then the final deadline of May 23.

This film celebration commences October 4-10, at the Glenwood Arts Theater in Overland Park, Kansas. A cultural and educational fair focusing on narrative, documentary, experimental and foreign films, animated, and short independent films, KIFF brings filmmakers from all over the world to Kansas City in a presentation of cinematic excellence, promoting artistic vitality and social consciousness.

Because of its entry fee, KIFF has been lauded as one of the top 25 festivals in the country by Movie Maker Magazine. It is also its commitment to artistry and its intimacy with the filmmakers that makes it one of the best in the nation.
