KANSAS still has it, but they’re holding out on their fans!
Yesterday the legendary progressive rock band that’s most known for their two major hits “Dust in the wind” and “Carry on my wayward son” shocked their facebook fans with a teaser “Hey KANSAS fans! Mark your calendars for August 17, 2013. A special announcement is coming soon...”
Public comments revealed much speculation of a new album in the works, as well as a documentary. With over 500 Facebook likes, 24 shares and 96 comments in fewer than 24 hours it’s clear that this band that formed in 1970 has continued to entertain an extremely loyal fan base.
KANSAS performed on Long Island this month to a packed house at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. In the crowd were fans of all ages including a preteen aspiring singer, an older gentlemen who can name every track on every KANSAS album, and an attractive woman who just had to get Phil Ehart’s drumsticks… and she did!
So what will their big news be? Guess we’ll just have to wait…
