With St. Patrick’s Day falling on a Sunday this year, the coming weekend has plenty of Irish-themed parades on the schedule. And among the bands, green floats and general revelry, you’re bound to see some of our local breed clubs and animal welfare groups taking part in the festivities.
Here is some information on the big parades on March 16 and 17, along with known participating dog-related groups. Click the links for the parade websites and more specific details. If your organization is not listed and would like to be, please email kcdogsexaminer@sbcglobal.net.
