Thursday, March 7
Hamburger Mary’s (101 Southwest Blvd., KCMO) hosts charity bingo from 8 to 10 p.m. for Midwest Pug Rescue.
Saturday, March 9
Pet owners in zip code 64108 or nearby: Spay & Neuter Kansas City is coming to you. SNKC will host a vaccination clinic at Westside Community Action Network (2130-B Jefferson St., KCMO) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Get your altered pet's rabies vaccination, KCMO pet license and a microchip for only $30. SNKC will also schedule spay/neuter appointments. La Super X 1160 will have a live remote at the clinic.
Adopt-a-Pet Day runs from noon until 4 p.m. at the Great Mall of the Great Plains (20700 W. 151st St., Olathe). Participating organizations include:

The TITLE Boxing Club location at 7600 State Line Road in Prairie Village will hold an hour-long kickboxing class with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. The cost is $30 per person. If you are attending, arrive by 1:15 p.m. The class begins at 1:30 p.m. You’ll get a free T-shirt and hand wraps.
Midwest Animal ResQ will host a no-limit Texas hold ‘em poker fundraiser beginning at 5 p.m. at Sharks (10320 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee). The cost is $50 at the door.
