It has been a true Cinderella story for the Kansas City Chiefs. Before Andy Reid arrived, they had traditionally been one of the worst teams in the NFL. Other than the 2010 season where they won the NFC West, they had won no more than seven games in a season since 2006. This season, Reid turned them into winners and ESPN reported on Dec. 28 that Kansas City had an eye popping eight players selected to the Pro Bowl this year. Here is how fans can follow the regular season finale Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers live stream.
- Date: Dec. 29
- Time: 4:25 p.m. EST
- TV: CBS
- Radio: XM 225
- Live Stream: Sunday Ticket
As great as the Chiefs season was, and as wonderful a story their turnaround was, they still lost twice in 2013 to the Denver Broncos, which means that they will be a wild card team in the playoffs despite a possibility of finishing with 12 wins. No matter what happens on Sunday, the Chiefs will sit as the best wild card team and have nothing to play for in this game.
However, their opponents have everything to play for. The San Diego Chargers only have eight wins, but still have a chance to make the playoffs with a win over the Chiefs. San Diego beat the Chiefs earlier in the season, and if they win this final game of 2013, they could make the playoffs. They will know before their game starts if they have a chance, because they can only make it if the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens both lose their earlier games.
The Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers live stream kicks off at 4:25 p.m. EST.
