Kandi Burruss has been staying silent about the drama between Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks in regards to their fitness DVD drama as shown on Sunday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She has been busy with her engagement and enjoying the fun things in life. According to a new Bravo blog released on Jan. 24, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss is opening up about the drama, because many of her fans are comparing the situation with the drama Kandi had with Kim on previous seasons.
“I really want to speak about the Kenya/Stallion Booty vs. Phaedra/Donkey Booty issue, because I got a lot of tweets about this. Some people asked me why I don’t sympathize with Kenya, because they feel it’s like my business situation with Kim in the past. Well it’s nothing like my issue with Kim,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss explains. She goes on to compare the two deals, and how she and Kim decided to share the profits. She believes that there was nothing wrong with Kenya wanting a percentage on the deal she brought to the table. In fact, the only problem Kandi has with this current deal is when Kenya decided to use the idea for her own project.
“But after deciding not to work on the project, Kenya just decided to take the idea and do it herself, and that’s the part I disagree with. Even if she had a deal on the table for a workout DVD, why did she have to basically steal the same concept and title of Phaedra’s idea? Kenya could have done a workout DVD that was not focused on the booty, but even if she was going to focus on the booty, why did she use a title so similar to Phaedra’s title? That wasn’t cool to me,” Kandi explains. Do you agree with Kandi that Kenya went wrong when she stole the idea?
