Kandi Burruss showed off her sexy swimsuit body after being ridiculed as fat by her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Kenya Moore.
On the Dec. 22 episode of the reality TV show, Moore joked that "Kandi can afford to skip a meal, or two, or five."
In another segment of the show, Moore, 42, cracked, "I don't know what got into Kandi. Maybe she smelled some Chick-fil-A or a burger upstairs."
In response to the series of fat jokes, Burruss, 37, posted several revealing photos on Instagram, where she spotlighted her tiny waist and voluptuous curves.
Kenya later claimed in a blog post that she was just joking, but came under fire for fat-shaming Burruss, a fan favorite.
"I made a wise crack at Kandi saying she could skip a meal," Kenya wrote. "Kandi knows I think she has a great figure, so I'm sure she laughed as we have together about the 5-10 pounds she wants to lose. I'm not a tiny girl myself, and I appreciate a woman with curves."
In response, Burruss dismissed Moore's fat digs and proclaimed that said she loves her body. "Well [Kenya] says I need to miss a few meals but I say I'm fabulous!" she wrote in a caption to her Instagram photo. "Gone with the wind fabulous."
Moore, who was crowned Miss USA in 1993, is a workout fanatic who released an exercise DVD last year. The 5-foot-10 Kenya said she weighs 145 pounds and maintains 18 percent body fat by following a healthy diet and working out five to six days a week.
