Kandi Burruss has admitted that she often reacts more strongly against her "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-stars after perceived wrongs than she does against her family members, namely her mom Mama Joyce, and other friends who actually deserve a tongue lashing. In an interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Sunday, June 29, Kandi revealed the reason why.

When asked how she deals with family drama, Kandi admitted that she doesn't do a very good job of it. She said that she bites her tongue a lot when it comes to her family and closest friends, which is not a good thing. She admitted that maybe it's because she holds back so much when it comes to drama with her family and closest friends that viewers see her explode sometimes on the other housewives.

One family member whom Kandi still bites her tongue with is her mom Mama Joyce. On the last season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and Kandi's current spin-off "Kandi's Wedding," Mama Joyce has said many hurtful and outrageous things about Todd Tucker and behaved shockingly because her vehement opposition to the marriage.

Mama Joyce, who believes that Todd is a user, has not only lashed out at Kandi and Todd but also at Todd's parents, whom she said were a pimp and prostitute, Kandi's best friend Carmon, whom she accused of having an affair with Todd, and housewife Phaedra Parks for supporting the relationship.

Kandi admitted in her interview that even when it's Mama Joyce who's clearly is in the wrong, it's she who has to grovel for reconciliation. Kandi said that her mom is always mad about something but will "never take the fault for anything" so after a few days of not speaking, Kandi has to be the one to pick up the phone and mend things over.

Despite Mama Joyce's attitude, Kandi Burruss still thinks that she's great. In fact, the housewife thinks that her mom is so great that she should be a starring housewife on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alongside her.
