Kaley Cuoco endorses DISH: Should the tweet have remained?

UPDATE 2/28/2013: CBS Communications reports to Jolie du Pre: "CBS STATEMENT: "Once again, Joe Clayton demonstrates his dubious gift for hyperbole and hucksterism. No demands were made, but it’s clear that Dish’s culture of fabrication is alive and well."

Kaley Cuoco tweets herself into reported DISH trouble, announced Web Pro News on Feb. 28. "The Big Bang Theory" actress tweeted a sponsored tweet endorsing Dish Network and allegedly angering her bosses over at CBS. The 27-year-old actress posted an advertisement, complete with a video, for a DISH Hopper commercial. "Amazing! Watching live TV anywhere on the #Hopper looks pretty awesome! Now where can I find a tiny beer? #ad."

Dish Network is in litigation with CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC over, as Web Pro News reports, "a feature included in their Hopper service which allows users to 'Auto Hop' through previously-aired shows while skipping commercials." Cuoco received thousands of hits for the tweet, but she later removed the tweet.

"We’ve reached out to several different celebrities and those with influence for sponsored tweets, and so I think she’s one of many folks," said DISH spokesman John Hall. "Our goal is to introduce our products and services to consumers. We find people that consumers are paying attention to."

When a celebrity works with a network, they sign contracts. Did Cuoco sign a contract stating that she is not allowed to tweet about a competitor or to tweet about a company that CBS is suing? If not, do you think she should have been allowed to keep the tweet?
