Kaleidoscope at thirtyninehotel is the place to be Tuesday nights for a live experience of the underground indie scene in Honolulu. Expect every kind of underground music genre, from electronica to rock. You won’t find mainstream melodies, packaged pop, or repeat riffs at Kaleidoscope. Hence the melting pot of indie kids, politicos, art connoisseurs and folk rockers who make thirtyninehotel’s crowd as unique as the art exhibitions adorning its space.
Note that on any other night at thirtyninehotel, you may find anything from Hawaiian tunes to DJs driving their dance beats into the night.
Thirtyninehotel’s mission goes beyond serving classy cocktails and providing a place for pundits. This modern venue has a much grander vision. Not only is its purpose to bring high quality music and art to the people in Hawaii, but to show that Oahu is also a central point on the artistic axis of the world.
