Kail Lowry and Jo Rivera made some serious progress earlier this year when it came to co-parenting, but unfortunately, months later, they reverted to old ways.

In the first few months of the year, Lowry and Rivera shocked fans when they surfaced with Rivera's girlfriend, Vee Torres. In photos posted to social media, the trio were seen together, looking as happy as they could be with their son, Isaac.

However, these days, things are a bit strained between them, as fans have seen on "Teen Mom 2."

Last week, Lowry attempted to reach out to the couple by inviting them to a birthday party, but despite her efforts, Rivera and Torres didn't show. Then, during this week's episode, which was recapped by Wetpaint Entertainment on Aug. 1, things appeared to be heading up when the three reunited in an attempt to get their friendship back on track for Isaac's sake.

While things this week were better than they were last week, Lowry says she and Rivera still have a ways to go when it comes to their co-parenting relationship.

"Co-parenting is still a work in progress but we are trying! #TeenMom2," Lowry wrote on Twitter on July 30.

Hopefully, as time goes on, Lowry and Rivera will be able to put their issues aside once and for all and join forces in an effort to make Isaac's life that much easier. Either way, as long as they are trying, it's safe to say they are heading in the right direction.
