Football fans everywhere are taking part of the Kaepernicking craze, so move over Tim Tebow. In the wake of the 49ers victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, a new phenomenon called “Kaepernicking” has caused thousands of people across America to record video taping and snapping pictures of themselves doing with quarterback Colin Kaepernick does when he scores a touchdown.
So what exactly is Kaepernicking? Well, the new craze is based off of Colin’s “posing” following his trips to the end zone, in which the 49ers quarterback flexes his muscles, bends his head down, and makes it appear that he’s kissing his biceps.
Any person who enjoys weight lifting or working out is familiar with this pose, but what’s fun about the new craze is seeing how anyone (buff or scrawny) is doing their best Kaepernick impersonation.
Jumping onto social network sites like Facebook and Twitter, people have begun posting images of themselves kissing their biceps in homage to the new “Kaepernicking” craze.
It’s even bled over into YouTube, where guys and girls across America (not just in San Francisco) have posted videos of themselves doing the now famous pose.
Just last year, it was “Tebowing” that was sweeping the country, especially in the aftermath of the Denver Broncos winning a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Now, it’s Colin Kaepernick’s time to shine.
