Kaepernick faces media with typical class, style (Photos)

Colin Kaepernick was the center of attention on Tuesday during the Super Bowl's annual Media Day festivities.

The Former Nevada Wolf Pack quarterback, like he did his entire career at Nevada from 2006-10, handled the media with grace and ease.

"It's a little weird," he said of all the attention he;s getting. "Three months ago, I could go almost anywhere and no one would know me. Here, I've been able to sneak out a little bit. It's great to be here with the cameras and all, but we're here to win a football game."

The biggest news to come out of Kaepernick's first Media Day experience was that he plans on getting yet another tattoo from his favorite tattoo artist in Reno.

"I haven't officially let him know yet," Kaepernick said. "But he knows I'm coming."

Kaepernick's 49er teammates have been impressed with the way the second-year pro has handled all the attention.

“No, I’m not surprised at all he's done so well," guard Alex Boone said. "I’ve never seen that kid break a sweat. Have you? I’ve never seen him get rattled. He threw an interception the first series in the Packers game. He came over to the sideline, kind of looked down for a second and was, like ‘Alright, let’s go.’ I was like, ‘OK, if you say we’re going, we’re going.’ That’s what I love about him. He’s always so confident, so in the moment, never gets high-jacked, never out of it. That’s what makes him such a great quarterback.”
