Kabbalah: The Awakened Centers of Awareness

Everything that happens to you happens through you.  There are no outside influences.  You open the door to let everything in or you choose what comes and goes. You maintain your focus by returning to it each time you stray.

Visualizations may be simple or complex the point of the exercise is to teach you that changing your mind can be the ultimate creative experience.  Sometimes too it helps to look ahead to where you are seeking so that with perspective along the way the journey becomes more meaningful.  To that end we look at the Tree of Life as a whole and see what is happening along its centerline of enfoldment.

The Tree of Life has four centers, Keter, Tipheres, Yesod and Malchus that may be thought up in that they are the result of every relationship that thought makes in its continuing expressions.  There is however a fifth center called Daas directly beneath Keter which is a kind of bonus center in that it automatically comes into being the moment the thought is initially expressed even before the comprehension and understanding setup in Keter become actively operational.

Why are there four centers?  It could be said that each center parallels a world of being such Atzilus, or Briah, Assiyah or Yetzirah.   This comes about as a result of the alignment of these centers, which corresponds, to the alignment of your focus along the path of your realization of that focus.  Also the fifth hidden center acts to provide those shifts in focus that transform Consciousness into another dimension of being.

This takes place when because of the reflective qualities that Consciousness is imbued with every Sephira contains not only its own portal into becoming but also generates an entire set of Sephiros according to the nature of its internal directive.

These centers are then the portals of Consciousness through which, everything comes to be exactly in the right moment in which it meant to.  More than this there is the secret of Consciousness itself that determines that higher thought trumps lower thought.  Yes we are most definitely ruled from above.  Why is this important to understand?  Because time spent in lower realms of being while serving the dictates of experience also uses up that experience in terms of preparing us for the next step.

Try walking across a room in the dark without any idea where the door is and the room may be of indeterminate length and width so that systematic searching along the sides will be to no avail.  Yet given a map or a purpose or intention suddenly our steps achieve their meaning and we go right for the door without a second thought.

These centers of awakened awareness then reveal the intimate details of each Sephira to the left and right of it causing a definite orientation that coincides with the original intention set forth from above.  What is happening here is analogous to what happens to light when it is focused intensely.  In the case of a magnifying glass there is a fire and with a laser a super concentration of light is brought to bear.  This is then the purpose of these centers integrally a part of the Tree of Life.

Each time you align yourself meaning your focus with these centers of awareness you attenuate that focus.  This process goes along with the original intention, which is to always to become that which it is seeking.  B”H.
