The small collection of gold hair accessories include three accessories; Chain Reaction; a grosgrain ribbon headband with oversized chain links, La Discrète; a hair cuff for your pony tail and Boucle d’Or; a rhinestone-encrusted barrette made of 10 hand-set Swarovski crystals. As this is Vanessa Seward's first venture into the beauty industry she gathered her inspiration from the Kérastase's Couture Styling Collection and the fashion guru's infatuation for gold bijoux. In order to bring her inspiration to life, Vanessa enlisted the help of jewelry manufacturer Edgard Hamon with whom she previously worked with at Chanel and Azzaro.

The trio of gilded accessories have a price range of $137 for the Boucle d'Or barrette up to $328 for the La Discrète hair cuff. If you feel the price range may be too high for you, don't think of the pieces as you would an ordinary rubber hairband. Instead look at these piece as investment pieces that can be worn anytime, anywhere and with just about any outfit you own from a causal tee to a cocktail evening dress.

The entire Kérastase Paris and Vanessa Seward collection can be purchased exclusively online at http://www.colette.fr/. If you happen to be vacationing in France make sure you stop at Colette in Paris where you can pick up these pieces as well. Currently Vanessa Seward is working on launching her own eponymous line alongside Jean Touitou (founder of A.P.C.) that is set to debut March 2015 at Paris Fashion Week F/W 2015.
