That's right, for all of you fans of VH1's Love & Hip Hop K. Michelle will be performing live this upcoming February 20 @ 8:00 pm, doors will open at 6:00 pm. For those of you who are not familiar with her, K. Michelle, is an American recording artist and pianist as well as songwriter. She first received notice in 2009 with the charting single Fakin' It (featuring Missy Elliott).and later went on the write and record other singles such as "Can't do this" and "Fallin'". K.Michelle is now a Recording Artist at Warner Bros Records. Since then she has been in the studio working on her new album set to be released summer 2013, along with the release of Love&Hip-Hop season 2. Her performance at Howard is apart of her promotion tour debuting some her new music as well as fan favorites.

Before the Apollo, before the Regal, there was The Howard Theatre. At its opening in 1910 it was “the largest colored theatre in the world.” Sadly shuttered and neglected since the early 1980s, the once majestic building with its “trunk of soul” has survived death in order to be reborn in 2012.
For most of the 20th century, The Howard Theatre captivated audiences with music, dance, drama and comedy. In its early days, speakers like Booker T. Washington shared the stage with musicals, road shows, vaudeville acts, theater productions and community programs. Later, Washington’s favorite son Duke Ellington inaugurated a new era of jazz big bands on The Howard’s stage.
