K-Love's Chosen Charity: Souper Bowl of Caring

Being K-Love’s chosen charity of the month, The Souper Bowl of Caring has their big kick off around NFL’s Super Bowl.  With a heart to connect with the local charities, to date there were 5,701 groups that participated and gathered $6,508, 117 in cash and food items.  Stop by the site to see the reported numbers constantly growing.

So what is the Souper Bowl of Caring?
A national movement of young people working to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities around the time of the Super Bowl football game.  The weeks surrounding Super Bowl Sunday, young people take up a collection, asking for one dollar, or one item of food for people in need to give 100% of their donation directly to the local hunger-relief charity of their choice.

Why register?
