With only three days' notice David Tutera took time out of his family trip to New York to see if he could come to the aid of Jenni "JWoww" Farley, but it was a struggle to keep his cool. David was celebrating the one-year anniversary of meeting his partner and the two men along with David's precious child Cielo flew into New York City, thinking it would be great family bonding time.
No such luck as JWoww convinced him that she was desperate and turned to him because he's the king or party planning, and not just parties. Events is a better word for what Tutera creates for clients and sure enough, the Jersey girl wanted a circus-like atmosphere, including elephants. The video clip of their initial meeting is over-the top, even for JWoww and Tutera
In what has become a staple of Tutera's CELEBrations, the diva of the week and David clash, sometimes from the start. That was true of this episode as Farley and David couldn't agree on the level of style for the party. She told him she had no respect for what she called Manhattan "martini and coke" parties, while David just groaned at the thought of having to not only drive to New Jersey, but plan a party there.
That is where his associate Slomique came in. She was charged with fulfilling the three make-or-break demands by JWoww. Get Roger's estranged sister to the event, sign up UFC Middleweight Champion, Chris Weidman to make an appearance and last, but not least, procure a specific model of motorcycle.
There was just one problem with the bike, it was out of stock everywhere and the only one in a retail location was already sold, waiting to be picked up. Believe it or not, Slomique was able to come through on all three required elements, but not without hysteria on the part of David Tutera as well as JWoww.
After the fright of making a client unhappy, Tutera got into the swing of it, and did his best to tone down the Jersey style, while still keeping JWoww from taking a swing at him. He had fences to mend at home, since JWoww was high maintenance, but David was able to smooth things over with a heartfelt apology and a gorgeous watch as an anniversary gift.
Next week gets even funkier as Lil' Kim takes center stage on David Tutera's CELEBrations, airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT on WE tv.
