As reported by ESPN Deportes on Wednesday morning, Galatasaray won the last group game against Juventus 1-0, after the game had been postponed on Tuesday due to heavy snowfall in Istanbul, Turkey.

When the game was postponed on Tuesday, during the 61st minute, the game was still scoreless. The game continued today in the early hours and the Turkish team took the victory, leaving the Italian champions eliminated from the most prestigious international club tournament in Europe.

The lone goal that gave the Turkish club team the victory was scored by Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder in the 85th minute of the game, which put Galatasaray SK in second place of Group B of the UCL.

This loss was a huge heartbreak for Juventus FC as they came into the tournament as champions of the Italian league, Serie A, winning the domestic league two years in a row.
