Juventus came from behind to defeat US Sassuolo in round 35 of the Italian soccer league on Monday afternoon. The final score of the match was 3-1 in favor of Juve, as the team took a step closer for a third consecutive title.

As reported by ESPN Deportes, the match between Juve and Sassuolo was played at Citta del Tricolore, Sassuolo’s home. Despite the early goal by the home team, Juve managed to come back with three goals to take the victory.

The first goal of the match was scored by the home team in the 9th minute by forward Simone Zaza. Sassuolo scored too early against a strong team like Juve and was not able to hold on to the lead or add any more goals.

Juventus came back with three goals of their own. The first goal was scored by Argentine forward Carlos Tevez in the 35th minute. Tevez took a shot from the very top of the box and put it in the net.

The second goal came in the 58th minute via midfielder Claudio Marchisio. The midfielder volleyed the ball from a chip that came from veteran midfielder Andrea Pirlo that was sent to the middle of the box. Marchisio did not fall for the offside trap and beat US Sassuolo’s goalkeeper to the ball.

The third goal was scored by Spaniard forward Fernando Llorente in the 76th minute. The ball was centered on the ground by Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner from the right side. The ball was put into the net by Llorente with a right back heel, while defeating a defender and the goalkeeper.

The victory put Juventus one step closer to the Scudetto title which will be the third consecutively. Next week, Juve will host Atalanta for round 36 on a Monday. If Juve wins, the team will become the Italian Champions of the Serie A.
