Juventus and Fiorentina win in Europa League while Napoli ties and Lazio loses

Today in the UEFA Europa League round of 32, Italian clubs Juventus FC and ACF Fiorentina won their respective matches, while SSC Napoli tied and SS Lazio lost.

As reported by ESPN Deportes, Juventus, at home, defeated Turkish club Trabzonspor with goals by Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Paul Pogba. Juventus FC left their visiting team scoreless.

Also reported was the victory of the Lilies, as the visiting team, over Danish team Esbjerg 3-1. Goals for ACF Fiorentina were scored by Alessandro Matri, Josip Ilicic, and Alberto Aquilani via penalty. The lone goal for the Danish team was made by Martin Pusic.

As for Napoli, they had a scoreless tie with English team Swansea City in England. The team from Naples is still in good shape as the second leg will be played in Italy.

The only losing Italian club team in the Europa League today was Lazio who played at home against Bulgarian team Ludogorets Razgrad. SS Lazio only lost by a goal via Roman Bezjak.

The second leg for the round of 32 in the UEFA Europa League will be played next week. The only Italian team in trouble is SS Lazio as they are a goal down and having to play in Bulgaria.
