INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – While many didn’t know Justin Timberlake sponsored a race car, they will now after the race car sponsored by his William Rast clothing line won the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.
It was one of the most unforgettable finishes at the Indianapolis 500 ever seen when J.R. Hildebrand crashed in the final lap and English driver Dan Wheldon, 32, was right there to pick up the win.
Timberlake tweeted his excitement after the win. “What a Memorial Day weekend! The William Rast car just won the Indy 500!!!!” Timberlake also tweeted his excitement to the racing team. "Congrats to Dan Wheldon, the WR racing team and everyone else who put in the hard work for this victory! Unreal!"
Meanwhile, Timberlake and actress Olivia Wilde have been rumored to be together. It was in early March when Wilde filed for divorce from husband Tao Ruspoli and Timberlake called it quits with actress Jessica Biel.
Wilde and Timberlake are currently filming the sci-fi movie “Now” about a futuristic society where people cannot age and can only remain alive as long as they pay for it, which helps control overpopulation.
