A new Justin Timberlake "SNL" episode is coming soon. The popular singer is set to return as host of the show "Saturday Night Live" weeks after another famous singer named Justin served as host.
According to a report from TV Guide on Feb. 21, Timberlake has big plans for March, as he pushes to release his brand new album, "The 20/20 Experience." He'll appear on "Saturday Night Live" on the March 9 episode as both host and guest musical star. He'll also be on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" five times in a row in the week of March 11 through 15. Timberlake is set to be interviewed twice that week, but will perform a song every day of that particular week too.
Timberlake's "SNL" hosting gig will be his fifth time on the show. He's made other guest appearances on the sketch comedy show, including popping up in music videos by Andy Samberg as well. "Saturday Night Live" is on hiatus in terms of new episodes, but Kevin Hart will host on March 2 with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as musical guests.
Recently, Justin Bieber served as the guest host of "Saturday Night Live," and also performed as the musical guest. One skit included the singer poking fun at himself and his recent weed smoking controversy on a spoof of another celeb with "The Miley Cyrus Show."
Roanoke viewers can watch "SNL" on Saturday evenings at 11:35 p.m. EST on Cox Cable channel 10 for the NBC affiliate station WSLS.
