On March 20 Justin Timberlake released a touching music video for his next single “Mirrors.” Timberlake has dedicated the song to his grandparents, William and Sadie Bomar, and the video loosely follows their life story. William Bomar sadly passed away last year. The Tennessee-born singer has cited Bomar as his major role model in life. Justin previously created a clothing line, William Rast, in his grandfather’s name.
In the new video for "Mirrors" fans are left waiting for Justin to appear until the last two minutes. Timberlake finally shows up in a house of mirrors, where he pulls off some great choreography wearing a very unique pair of wingtip shoes. A blonde female dancer can be seen in the background.
In the scene the 32-year-old singer is heard saying to his grandfather, “You’re my reflection and all I see is you, my reflection in everything I do.”
Justin Timberlake is celebrating the release of his third solo album this week. Billboard reports that Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience” is now expected to soar past early predictions and sell at least 750,000 copies. That would be Justin’s biggest solo debut and beat his last album, “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” which sold just 687,000 copies in its first week.
Timberlake previously announced he will embark on a tour of the United States this summer with Jay-Z. Justin has also confirmed that he is working on a sequel to “The 20/20 Experience.” Sources have said that the sequel will hit store shelves late this fall.
