Following the release of his new album, pop singer Justin Timberlake also dropped the highly anticipated music video for his single, “Mirrors,” on Tuesday. The reflective clip shows the ups and downs of love an elderly couple's love throughout the decades.
Timberlake dedicated the “Mirrors” video to his grandparents, William and Sadie. The singer himself is absent for most of the Floria Sigismondi-directed clip as the elderly couple are the focus. From their puppy love days in the '50s all the way to the present, the couple's arguments and romance are reflected across time and the screen. When the superb pop track's outro kicks in, Timberlake finally comes in the picture. He leaves the suit and tie for a coat and turtleneck sweater this time around, but his smooth moves remain intact. At the end, he finds himself face-to-face with his love interest in a mirror.
“Mirrors” is the second single from Timberlake's “The 20/20 Experience,” which is expected to top Billboard's albums chart next week.
