Timberlake had to reschedule his Saturday night concert in Buffalo, N.Y. but on Feb. 20 Timberlake offered fans an apology when he was a guest on “The Tonight Show” starring Jimmy Fallon. Timberlake had missed a concert at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the last minute due to health reasons. That meant that fans in Buffalo lost out because Timberlake performed at Madison Square Garden Thursday and Friday night instead. Looking at Timberlake's schedule on his website, the singer does not have any concerts scheduled three day in a row. Therefore, the concert in Buffalo has been rescheduled for July 9 as part of Timberlake’s “20/20 Experience” summer tour.
Timberlake looked right into the camera to offer his apology, saying:
“Hi, Buffalo. I’m Justin Timberlake and I want to say I’m sorry for postponing my concert. I know what you’re saying: ‘I don’t want an apology, I want a concert.’ I’m coming back July 9 and you’d better be ready. We’re going to party and if you’re not satisfied, Jimmy Fallon is going to come to your house and give you a full body massage complete with hot wax.”
The Timberlake show was scheduled to take place at The First Niagara Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres. The Buffalo Sabres headed back from the Olympic Games in Sochi and the tour was unable to be scheduled any earlier than this summer.
