A month ago, Kanye West was feeling some type of way about Timberlakes’ single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z. Ye went on to say, in a London concert, “I got love for Hov, but I ain't f***ing with that 'Suit & Tie'.” One has to ask if he was referring to Jay-Z wearing a suit and tie or was he referring to the song itself?
Well, there have been no reports clarifying what he meant. West has been known for being upfront about his feelings throughout his career. We all remember, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” in 2005. We also remember West crashing Taylor Swift’s speech for winning the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards for best female video.
Either way, Timberlake appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night and stated, “I absolutely love Kanye.” This came about after his performance on SNL where he altered one of the lyrics to his single “Suit & Tie” from, “S**t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” to “My hit's so sick got rappers acting dramatic.” Who knows. Fallon did ask him if the change was a result of what Kanye said in London, but Timberlake responded with a joke, “Did the lyrics change? I don't remember.”
His appearance on SNL boosted the shows ratings over the weekend, however; JT’s new album, “The 20/20 Experience” will release in the U.K. on March 18th and the U.S. soon after.
