“Suit & Tie” singer Justin Timberlake took a couple of weeks to finally shoot back at Kanye West, after Kanye bluntly admitted to ranting that Timberlake’s Suit & Tie song “suck.”
Timberlake took the opportunity to respond back at Kanye during his performance at last Saturday’s SNL appearance in New York City by singing his popular Suit & Tie song, and change the lyrics to obviously refer to Kanye’s dissing Timberlake’s song.
Timberlake performed his lyrics and went like this:
“Aww, shit so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit. To my hit’s so sick got RAPPERS acting dramatic.”
The changed lyrics directed at Kanye was not the cussing or over-dramatic “diss” rappers are used to exchanging, but at least newlywed Timberlake got this mess off his chest.
Just last month, papa-to-be Kanye West took opportunity to rant the following in his concert, “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t fucking with that “Suit & Tie.”
The song title alone was very obvious Kanye was talking about Timberlake.
Timberlake, who has been hanging out and performing with Kanye’s friend, rapper and entrepreneur, Jay-Z is scheduled to perform with the Brooklyn-born rapper in July at Yankee Stadium.
So far, no word or response from Kanye after Timberlake defended his Suit & Tie song, claiming "it's a hit."
