Returning pop star Justin Timberlake unveiled the lyric video for his latest single, “Suit & Tie,” on Thursday. The snazzy clip features the singer dressing to impress for the day ahead of him.
The “Suit & Tie” video goes beyond the usual repetitiveness of a lyric clip with the song's words flashing across the screen while Timberlake suits up. He gets his hair cut, meticulously gets ready, and brushes that dirt off his shoulder. Exuding the assuredness of a grown man, Timberlake puffs on a cigar, cuts a track in the studio, and bust some Michael Jackson moves in his tuxedo. The black-and-white clip perfectly captures the simplicity behind the song's classy sound.
“Suit & Tie,” featuring Jay-Z, hit no. 4 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles this week. It previews Timberlake's upcoming album, “The 20/20 Experience,” due out on March 19.
