As rumored since their appearance together on this year's Grammys, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z announced their joint tour, "Legends of the Summer", which debuts July 17th at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
Playing in stadiums and ballparks, their tour itinerary includes New York's Yankee Stadium, Boston's Fenway Park and Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium.
With the exception of the Yankee Stadium date, tickets will go on sale February 28th through Live Nation. More information regarding the Yankee Stadium date will be announced shortly.
If you're desperate for presale access to tickets, you can visit the tour's Facebook page for information regarding the presale, which will start on February 27th.
Both Timberlake and Jay-Z have done joint tours before (Timberlake with Christina Aguilera and Jay-Z with Mary J. Blige) so this isn't new territory is either of them. While this tour will do wonders to promote Timberlake's album The 20/20 Experience, which is set for release on March 19th, Jay-Z currently doesn't have a new album to promote. Maybe he didn't want to be home alone while Beyonce does her Mrs. Carter world tour.
