On June 5, 2011, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis presented the first award at the MTV Movie Awards in the category “Best Male Performance.” Though the win went to Robert Pattinson from “Twilight,” Justin Timberlake made a joke and referred to his penis indicating that his and Mila’s public grope had just displayed the best male performance.

Justin and Mila star in the soon to be released film “Friends with Benefits” that focuses on two "twenty-somethings" who decide to enter into an arrangement where they will meet each other’s sexual needs without the usual constraints of a committed relationship. The movie addresses whether or not the “Friends with Benefits” method will work for the two. Since Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis ended their real life relationships with partners Jessica Biel and Macaulay Culkin, rumors have circulated that the two are romantically involved.
Justin Timberlake began the MTV Movie Awards presentation by stating that he and Mila are in a platonic relationship and she referred to them as having a “brother and sister” type of relationship. He then cupped her breasts with his hands and she grabbed his crotch in what some have referred to as one of the most awkward award show moments in history. When it was time to announce the nominees and winner, Justin Timberlake continued with jokes.
Mila Kunis held the envelope and announced, “The winner for best male performance is…” to which Justin Timberlake interjected, “I think we just found that out.” The audience broke out in laughter and Mila handed Justin the envelope then moved behind him to hide her laughter. Mila then stood alongside Justin as he opened the envelope and stated into the microphone, “What a shameless reference to my penis.” He then announced the winner was Robert Pattinson.
