The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Justin Long is returning to TV for three episodes only in FOX' new freshman comedy, New Girl.
Long has mostly been making his mark on the big screen of late, though as recently as 2006 he appeared in an episode of That 70s Show and voicing characters in King of the Hill. The return to television proves to be promising, even if still short-lived, as he is appearing as Paul, music teacher and new crush to Zooey Deschanel's Jess.
Just because Jess has (big, wide) eyes for him, though, doesn't mean he necessarily reciprocates. After all, if things were to work out, we'd imagine he would be sticking around for more than only a handful of episodes. Jess must put her foot in her mouth faster than we could have anticipated with this one!
New Girl premieres on FOX on September 20th at 9pm.
