Justin Bieber wants Selena Gomez back, his people may want Lil Twist out (Video)

Justin Bieber tweeted his pseudo-apology over being photographed smoking what appears to be weed on Saturday, but the controversy over his recent behavior doesn’t end there. Justin was partying in a Newport Beach, Calif., hotel with a group of friends that included bff rapper Lil Twist when the pics were snapped. Sources claim Twist was twisting them up for the group, and some fear the tighter Bieber and Twist become, the rapper may be exerting a bad influence on the pop-star, according to TMZ yesterday. Others think Twist may give the Biebs a much needed “edge” to his squeaky clean image. Maybe Justin’s partying ways are his way of coping with his waning relationship with Selena Gomez. The two had a New Years blowout and are apparently off again.

Sources tell TMZ that Justin Bieber and Twist have become close, and have been smoking together on a number of other occasions. The two were together the day Lil Twist ended up pulled over for speeding in Justin’s Ferrari, at which time a photographer was struck and killed in traffic trying to snap photos of the situation.

Sources close to Bieber are deeply concerned that Twist has become a, “powerful negative influence in his life and feel very strongly Justin needs a clean break from the rapper or else bad things are going to happen”.

But not all agree with that opinion. Some think that Justin Bieber’s move, “from Pat Boone to Flavor Flav”, may actually widen his audience of fans. Celebrity trend expert Dorothy Cascerceri tells in “In Touch Weekly” that, “A little bit of a bad boy side might even up his sex appeal”.

Cascerceri adds, “This may even help him by giving him a bit of an edge that might appeal to girls”, according to the N.Y. Daily News. Another observer notes Lil Twist might even be giving clean-cut Bieber some “street cred”.

Bieber, 18, was also photographed drinking champagne with the 19 year-old rapper in Mexico on New Year’s Eve. The pair are legal to drink there, and it may be Justin is doing a little drowning of is sorrows after his latest break with his 20 year-old on and off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Selena was in Mexico with Justin to celebrate the holiday, but allegedly the two had another huge fight and Gomez split. On Jan. 1, she tweeted, “New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all”, according to Hollywood Life.

The same day, 29 year-old photographer Christopher Guerra was run over and killed while taking pics of Justin’s car in L.A.. It was the next day, Jan. 2, that the pot photos were taken. HL points out that every time something bad happens between Justin and Selena, Lil Twist is there.

They think he’s directly responsible for the couple’s problems. Of course you could just look at it as he’s being there for his best friend when he needs him, as in when he’s having relationship troubles.

Selena’s tweets sound like a pretty clear message though that she’s maybe ready to leave Justin behind for good. But Bieber isn’t ready to give up just yet. Even though the couple’s relationship has been on the skids since Thanksgiving, each time they break up Justin goes nuts trying to win her back.

Sources say the two new songs on Bieber’s new “Believe” acoustic album, “Yellow Rain Coat” and “I would” were written by him about Selena. He reportedly included them on this album in an attempt to show her how much he wants her back.

An inside source in Selena’s camp claims that Justin has been calling the Disney star 100 times a day, but she won’t pick up. “Justin’s devastated and pathetic right now”, the source said.

Up to now, Bieber has made a small fortune by never straying far from his public image as a teen heartthrob who needs no “Parental Advisory” sticker. It remains to be seen what might happen to that image and his fan base if he continues with this risky behavior.
