Justin Bieber got four nominations at the Juno Awards 2011. Drake got six nods. The two popular entertainers were nominated and dominated the categories for the Juno Awards to be held in Toronto. The list of the Juno Award nominations released on Tuesday morning was definitely a striking comparison on how two of the most known Canadian celebrities in the music scene are heading for a showdown in Toronto.
Drake picked up nominations for best album, best songwriter, best rap recording and best single for 'Find Your Love.' Justin Bieber’s nominations include Juno Fan Choice Award, Best Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Pop Album of the year. While the two musicians are different, they definitely will be going head to head against each other on 'Album of the Year.'
The showdown of the two entertainers isn’t just about the best music; it will also encompass the fan base as well. While technically this isn’t a rivalry, the fans from both camps are hardcore and they want their entertainer to win. This will be seen with all the hoopla and delight that is to come in the days ahead. These two stars have a lot in common when it comes to their fans including both have had to cancel appearances in New York due to overwhelming fan support.
