Justin Bieber Twitter trend promotes cutting in protest of his recent troubles

Justin Bieber’s squeaky clean image has clearly gotten the kibosh, and now some of his diehard fans are petitioning him to just say no to drugs.

Amid the release of incriminating photos that show JB allegedly smoking marijuana with rapper pal Lil Twist, on Monday a fake Twitter campaign emerged, with trolls urging Beliebers to “cut” in support of JB. The hashtag #cut4bieber became a top U.S. trend on the social networking site, with Beliebers posting photos after "cutting" in an effort to pressure the teen idol to stop smoking pot.

On Monday, former “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus weighed in on the subject and asked fans to stop the madness, retweeting: “#cutforbieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful.”

Cyrus has become Bieber’s mouthpiece in recent weeks. Just last week, she went on a Twitter rampage, slamming what she called “dangerous” paparazzi in the wake of the death of a photographer who was killed while tailing Bieber’s car.

“Wasn't Princess Di enough of a wake up call?!” the 20-year old singer twteeted.”his was bound to happen! Your mom teaches u when your a child not o play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices.”

Bieber has been mostly quiet on the smoking subject, tweeting, “i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u. #beliebers.”
