Justin Bieber to Appear on So You Think You Can Dance

Summer dance show So You Think You Can Dance premieres next week and this year, there's a new competition element. Music star Justin Bieber and his choreographer, Nick DeMoura, will appear on the two-hour episode on May 28 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX to announce the details.

During the first four season episodes where the auditions are covered, Bieber and DeMoura will introduce two dance crews that will compete to perform in the season finale. And the twist is that viewers will be the ones to dcide which crew will win the honor. After each audition epside, viewers will be given information about how they can vote for their favorite on Twitter.

Dance crew competition will add a new dimension to the show and highlight an increasingly popular segment of dance talent for America.

  • Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Atlanta)
  • Billy Porter and Misty Copeland (Philadelphia)
  • Wayne Brady (New Orleans)
  • Jenna Elfman and Fabrice Calmels (Chicago)
  • Christina Applegate (Los Angeles)
