Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber is ready to yet again have his moment in the sunlight -- for bowling, out of all things. The singer is currently neck-and-neck with Taylor Swift when it comes to being nominated to the Bowling Hall of Fame -- which opened its doors this year to celebrities to enter the race.

Some of the other candidates -- which include reality star Kim Kardashian and late-night host Jimmy Fallon -- have ultimately fallen to the wayside. Bieber only has a lead of over 1,000 votes to Swift, meaning that ultimately anything could still happen.

Voting last until August 7, so if you really want a major say in who gets added to bowling royalty you can vote here.

Do you think this whole "hall of fame" voting is really for publicity, or will you just be happy with Justin Bieber makes it in? (After all, the most-watched Youtube video of all time is Justin singing "Baby" in a bowling alley.) Feel free to share your thoughts! To view photos of Justin from "CSI", follow the link here.

Don't know Justin's work. Heard "Mine" by Taylor Swift. Not impressed, at all. I do not know whether the contest is meaningful. If it were, the only reasonable outcome would be that The Dude won. I don't smoke dope, or drink, but The Dude understands love of the game of bowling. I have no reason to believe that these young people have a clue about life. If either Justin or Taylor Swift had an ounce of understanding of bowling, they would see to it that the The Dude won. He deserves it. They do not. But even with the help of Kanye West, whose work I find improbably weak, they do not have the character to see that The Dude gets into the hall. At least, I have not seen it. Love is not a popularity contest. Love is what we are. I am not seeing love with respect to the leaders of this contest. The Dude is Love.

I guess this is what happens when neither Ke$ha nor Miranda Cosgrove are involved.

    Joy to you, Rose.
