It wasn't so long ago that comedian (and "Parks and Recreation" star) Aziz Ansari was using teen singing sensation Justin Bieber as the blunt of few jokes in a "Funny or Die" skit. Now, the two sides are joining forces for the MTV Movie Awards.
Bieber announced on his Twitter page Tuesday afternoon that a few video promos featuring both him and Aziz are in progress:
"Shooting these MTV promos with my boy @Azizansari aka RAAANNDY, then got rehearsals for SOMEBODY TO LOVE video shoot. Aziz is a funny dude"
The MTV Movie Awards are scheduled to air on Sunday, June 6. It's still unknown what role exactly Bieber will have in the ceremony itself, but it is obvious at this point that the network is hoping to use his star power as much as humanly possible.
Stay tuned, as I will have the MTV Movie Awards promos as soon as they appear. (Click here for recent photos of Justin.)
