Beliebers worldwide have been in shock to hear that Justin Bieber says he is retiring from music. He's young, wealthy and among the most well known and well liked, albeit controversial, entertainers in history, and yet he says he wants to call it quits. ABC News reported on Dec. 18, 2013 that Justin Bieber says he's retiring from music.
During an interview on L.A. radio station Power 106 on Tuesday Bieber said that he’s calling it quits after his new album, “Journals,” hits the market on Dec. 23. Bieber was quoted as saying, “Um, I’m actually, I’m retiring man, I’m retiring.” He went on to say he thinks it's just going to take some time, but that he's probably going to quit music. He hit world fame and enormous wealth after just five years of doing music professionally.
The New York Daily News reported that while on the Los Angeles hip hop station, Power 106, Bieber said his next album, “Journals,” will be his last one. Fans were stunned worldwide to hear the news that the top young performer on the world scene was ending his career at just 19 years old. However, sources say Bieber was just joking, and after all he did not make any such tweets to his 48 million Twitter followers.
Let's hope Bieber was just joking. The world would have a lost less to offer a lot of people without Bieber's presence to entertain us. He has a way of sharing hope that anything nice is possible in life during unusually rough times for a lot of people across the world, such as when he recently visited people in the Philippines who are struggling to survive from the devastation of typhoon Haiyan.
