Justin Bieber’s neighbor files battery charge against him

Teen heart throb Justin Bieber has been having very bad month, and it just got worse. On March 27, TMZ reported that the “Never Say Never” singer got into a heated altercation with a neighbor on his property in a gated Calabasas community after he sped through the development in his Ferrari at nearly 100 miles per hour.

According to the report, the angry neighbor filed a battery report after Bieber “made some sort of contact” with the 135 pound man, who accused him of driving "unbelievably recklessly" at a very high rate of speed as kids played in the neighborhood. Bieber’s security team reportedly escorted the neighbor off of the singer’s property after her reportedly complained about parties at the singer’s house while he was away on tour.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesperson Steve Whitmore told HollywoodLife.com, “We got a call at 9:08 am. We don’t know where it came from, but we responded. Allegations have been made against Mr. Bieber, accusing him of battery. That’s all we know — we are investigating. We are not at the residence. We will make a report, and then we will take the appropriate action once the investigation is concluded.”

In California, a misdemeanor battery charge can include unwanted touching or spitting.

Earlier this month, the singer got into a confrontation with paparazzi in London, and had to be held back by his own bodyguard as he lashed out at the photog. Bieber also turned up very late for a concert date during his London tour, angering his fans.

On Sunday, Justin Bieber won the award for Best Male Singer at the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards, beating out Bruno Mars, Blake Shelton and even his own mentor, Usher.
