Justin Bieber's mom produces anti-abortion short film

Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, has announced that she will be the executive producer of an anti-abortion film set to be released next month.

The makers of the short film Crescendo told the Associated Press that they hope to raise $10 million for pregnancy centers with the screenings, and that Mallette will be a some of the events.

Ironically the mother of the pop star that croons "Baby," Mallette told Cinema Blend that she wants to "encourage young women all over the world, just like me, to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn."

Mallette, who conceived Bieber while still in high school, has been an outspoken advocate for young women to consider other options than abortion after she herself chose to have the world-famous pop start after converting to Christianity.

Mama Biebs hasn't been the only outspoken mother of a celebrity to advocate for pro life, as then-Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow's mother, Pam, shot a television advertisement for Focus on the Family that was to air during the 2010 Super Bowl.
