Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber's mother, is part of an anti-abortion film entitled, "Crescendo," ABC News reports Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. Pattie Mallette is listed in the title as, "Executive Producer," and she will be involved in promoting the film which will hopefully raise $10 million for pregnancy centers around the world.
Pattie Mallette knows about a crisis pregnancy firsthand. Justin Bieber’s mother was 17 when she became pregnant with him, and she was encouraged to abort him. Mallette’s life was not idyllic, but she knew she could not abort her baby. She ended up in a Canadian crisis pregnancy center herself when her mother threw her out.
Pattie has been very upfront about her past of addiction and abuse, and she has also been very vocal about her faith in God. She wrote a book in 2012 entitled, “Nowhere But Up.” If you want to read about Pattie Mallette’s fractured young life, Fox News has an article.
According to NYDaily News, Justin Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette, wants to get a message out to young women everywhere:
Mallette said in a statement she hopes her involvement with "Crescendo" will "encourage young women all over the world, just like me, to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn."
