Doesn't just about everyone collect something? For some celebrities, they collect a wardrobe full of designer clothing. Other's "collect" boyfriends (or girlfriends), while still others seem to "collect' pets. Justin Bieber seems to be collecting tattoos. His latest tattoo, is an X symbol on his left arm.
What's the big deal about this latest tattoo? For mom Pattie Mallette it was a big surprise. She found out about it as she made an appearance on WLNY-TV’s The Couch. “See, sometimes I find out things like this…the same way as everyone else,” she said.
Bieber adds the X symbol to his growing collection of tattoos, which includes an owl, crow, and "Believe" which is probably more of a nod towards his album than any significant statement of faith. But he also have an image of Jesus on his leg, a Hebrew tattoo of Yeshua, (Jesus in Hebrew), and praying hands. The latest is the Greek letter "X" (see video) which is "Chi" for Christ.
He said in more than one interview, “I’m a Christian, I believe in God, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins.” “I believe that I have a relationship and I’m able to talk to him and really, he’s the reason I’m here, so I definitely have to remember that.”
Is this the end of tattoos for the popstar? Probably not, he tells Metro, "I definitely see myself getting more in the future but slowly but surely. I'm not going to go too crazy right away and get something on my neck or anything like that."
