Hearing Justin Bieber on the local radio station? Well, give credit to the fast moving pace of finding his voice on the dial to the fans. With the new single Right Here with Drake and All Around the World, being the latest music, the entertainer has been recruiting fans to call the local stations and ask for the music. On Tuesday the entertainer thanked the fans who were taking time to give the stations a call as Justin Bieber knew the fan's influence was necessary for success.
“Shoutout to everyone requesting #RIGHTHERE and #AATW at radio ALL Around The World! thanks!” tweeted Justin Bieber from his official Twitter account. The entertainer obviously was pleased with the results as the fans were definitely making an impact.
While the music most likely would organically be put into rotation at radio stations over time and as fans developed a liking to the lyrics, this tactic forces stations to start playing the songs almost immediately. Keeping a log on requested music, the stations cater to their listeners and figure out what songs hit the air based partially on this data. Of course it also helps that Justin Bieber is in the news, which makes his name (and songs) easily recognizable.
