Justin Bieber receives praise from Rihanna

Rihanna and Justin Bieber both performed at the 2010 Kids' Choice Awards, and the two artists have quite a history of supporting one another. The "Rudy Boy" singer famously planted a kiss on Justin's cheek in December of last year, and now she is taking the time to praise his contributions to the music industry:

"He has locked into an audience that have been missing someone for so long. They're going to grow with him because he seems very real - he's not forcing anything."

Justin, being always the gentleman, thanked Rihanna for the compliment on his Twitter page.

If nothing else, the "Baby" singer has injected life into a market that was looking for a star of his caliber to compete against Disney superstars like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Not only does Justin have serious musical chops (as he can perform a variety of instruments), but he also has developed a devoted fan base who will watch his TV appearances and go out in drones to buy his music.
