Does the Justin Bieber – Rascal Flatts 'That Should Be Me' video offer glimpse of future Bieber?
At first glance a Rascal Flatts - Justin Bieber collaboration is a head-scratcher. In Justin Bieber's 'That Should Be Me' featuring Rascal Flatts we might just get a glimpse of what Justin Bieber's sound could be down the road, especially when you watch the video that was released just this week.

The re-mixed version of the Bieber tune adding Country music chart-toppers Rascal Flatts appears on Justin's 'My World 2.0' which is currently #8 on the Billboard 200. Here the song is a great mix of Bieber's youthful sound with Gary LeVox's more mature soaring voice. You could imagine Bieber saying... that could be me 15-20 years from now, vocally.
You have to admit this version of the song rocks and is a county-pop crossover that could and deserves considerable airplay. This isn't 'Baby Baby' or 'Never Say Never'. This is Bieber for a more mature audience and perhaps gives us a peek at what Justin will be 5-10 years down the road.
One thing is for sure, if this is the direction he heads, he might win a room full of Grammys.
