On Feb. 9 American singer-songwriter Justin Bieber performed his new song "Nothing Like Us" live on national television for the first time on the NBC late night variety show, "Saturday Night Live". Bieber was not only the musical guest, but he was also the show's host for the evening. The acoustic performance consisted only of Bieber singing into a hanging microphone that was lit up blue, while being accompanied by a piano. For the performance Bieber wore black pants, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket.
The song "Nothing Like Us" is a track from Bieber's acoustic compilation album, "Believe Acoustic". The album was released on Jan. 29 via Island/Schoolboy/RBMG and it debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. It is a new original song that Bieber wrote about his breakup with Selena Gomez.
