Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are doing the breakup thing, and he has turned the new year, so far, into one unflattering party. Breaking up is hard to do, after all. Sometimes guys get a little crazy. Justin has been spotted partying with pal Lil Twist and others, with what appears to be a joint in his hand, reports TMZ on Friday, Jan. 4. “A smoldering blunt,” the tab calls it.
Lil Twist was the friend driving Justin Bieber’s Ferrari when it was pulled over by police on the freeway, leading to the tragic New Year’s Day death of paparazzo Chris Guerra, who had told friends he was on a hot story about Justin smoking pot. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were never involved in this kind of scandal when they were together.
The pictures were from Jan. 2 – only a day after the accident, and no one photographed seems to give a thought to the serious nature of the tragedy. No, Justin was not at fault, but the death is going to bring all his recent behavior under a spotlight he very much does not want or need. Any chance at a reconciliation between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will be crushed, not to mention the damage to his brand. Justin’s fans are mostly little girls and teeny-boppers. They rarely smoke pot. They are still young enough to be shocked when their idol does.
Justin’s security was present at the party. They seemed to be allowing pictures. Too bad cell cameras don’t have smell apps. Then everyone would know for sure.
